This week on The Sci-Fi Movie Podcast, Jonathan and Rem discuss ‘Alien: Covenant’, directed by Sir Ridley Scott.
I really enjoyed it. It did manage to answer some questions, but left me still with more questions now, which is fine by me. That is part of what makes scifi fun to talk about. David makes a great villain, look forward to more in the franchise. I am kind of a biased Alien fanboy though, and actually really enjoyed Prometheus. It’s kind of a merging of Prometheus and the original Alien; with the big scope of Prometheus, but with the tension and suspense of Alien. Hopefully we don’t have to wait another 5 years before the next one.
Loved it. Excited for the next one!
Predictable and mostly a rehash of the previous films but I still enjoyed it.
Ultimately Prometheus was better, because it expanded the Alien universe, while this movie brought little to no new story. Kind of like what happened with Rogue One.
